Tita's House Blend
Batch 1.0
Brazil x The Philippines
250g
This coffee blend brews up memories in my late Tita’s kitchen.
It is a blend of two origins- Brazil’s bold, chocolatey notes meets the bright Filipino mountains with hints of Calamansi lime creating a cup that’s comforting, complex, and nostalgic.

TRACEABILITY
Atok, Province of Benguet, Philippines
Kalsada is a social enterprise that is working hard to champion Filipino specialty coffee. It provides support to Filipino coffee producers and their dedicated efforts to bring quality coffee to market. Working in partnership with local communities, Kalsada invests in machinery and equipment to elevate coffee quality and pays farmers over $1 per pound more than Fair Trade.
Through a Kickstarter campaign, Kalsada established its first community mill in Belis back in 2015. Now, a group of over 72 farmers bring their coffee cherries for centralised processing and annual production has grown from a tonne and a half to 11 tonnes. Belis is located in Atok, Benguet, within the Cordillera mountain range, on the largest Philippine island of Luzon. With an elevation of 1400 –1700 masl and natural springs that flow all-year round, this is a perfect location for growing both superb coffee and a range of vegetables.
Cerrado Mineiro, Brazil
Cerrado Mineiro holds an important place in the country’s coffee history. In 2005, it became the first coffee-producing region in Brazil to receive Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status, and in 2013 it achieved full Designation of Origin (DO) recognition. These milestones reflect a collective commitment from producers across the region to maintain strict production standards, transparency, and regional distinction.
The region is defined by its clearly marked seasons: hot, wet summers followed by dry winters. This climatic stability plays a crucial role in the region’s agricultural rhythm, particularly during harvest, when dry conditions support consistent processing and reduce risks associated with humidity. Combined with established infrastructure and generations of coffee-growing knowledge, these environmental conditions have positioned Cerrado Mineiro as one of Brazil’s most recognised and respected coffee-producing regions.
